Our Philosophy & Mission

School Improvement Plan/Goals

On a bi-annual basis, MacNeal School undergoes the approval process set by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).  The school has remained in good standing with ISBE since beginning the program in August of 1998.

In addition to ISBE approval, MacNeal School has earned accreditation through AdvancEd formerly known as North Central Association (NCA).  MacNeal School is actively involved in the ongoing School Improvement Process under the guidance of AdvancEd.

During this school year MacNeal School is preparing for its Quality Assurance Review for re-accreditation.  This is an exciting time for the MacNeal School community as we continue our endeavor toward our school improvement goals.  We are committed to providing excellence in education, academically and therapeutically.
